During one of the biggest snow storms this year me and my fiancé ended up here after my car broke down I made the staff aware my car was broke down and they were more than helpful . After getting my car fixed and put back together I needed to jump start my car and being it was 10 o'clock during the storm after fixing it in the parking lot ROSH the awesome gentleman working the front counter was absolutely amazing in asking if I needed help and when I did say yes I need to jump start my car he went above and beyond to help me out and I got my car running !!! I will say I've seen some reviews about this place and I disagree whoever heartedly with all the negative reviews.... I can say any trips near Portland or Freeport or surrounding areas in the future there will be absolutely NOWHERE else me and my fiancé will be staying !!!! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart rosh you rock! And to the rest of the staff here you guys are awesome thanks for everything

The new renovations at this location made the stay so positive. Everything felt new--beds, bedding, carpet, towels (that were soft). The rooms were spacious. The check-in process was good. The nice gentleman provided us good suggestions for food (Pats Pizza) and the restaurant across the street was perfect for breakfast. The only thing I could say is the tub looked dated (but clean!) but otherwise no complaints. Definitely would stay again.

The rooms are spacious, new decor, and very clean. It’s easily accessible from Hwys 1 and 395 , but very very quiet. The Freeport Cafe is on the property and serves scrumptious breakfasts. It’s a busy place. So you know it’s great. Buy a house specialty cinnamon roll for the road (or even better, eat it right away!)

We stayed at the Best Western Freeport Inn for 5 nights during a family vacation recently and were overall happy with our room and the property. We booked a river view room, which was spacious, clean, quiet, and located in a separate building across the river from the main hotel. It was a little tricky to find at first, but once we got there, we really enjoyed the peace and privacy. The property is very pet-friendly, which we appreciated while traveling with our small dog. They had a pet waste station with bags and a disposal bin conveniently located near the building. We were, however, disappointed to be kept waiting over 30 minutes past check-in before we could access our room due to a delay in turnover, not ideal after a long travel day. While we waited, one staff member (a skinny girl with curly hair, who maybe was an assistant manager?) I was very loudly giggling and making what seemed like not-so-discreet comments about our family on the phone, presumably to housekeeping. It came across as unprofessional and left a poor first impression. The “river view” is mostly blocked by trees, which was a bit of a letdown, but it’s still a relaxing setting. On the plus side, the pool was clean and well-maintained, which was nice after a day of exploring for our water loving eight year old. Despite a rocky start and some rudeness from staff, the comfort of the room, the pet-friendly amenities, and the cleanliness of the facilities mean we would stay here again. Though we hope the customer service improves.

This was a really nice hotel. It was very clean and comfortable.I am in a wheelchair. The floor was wood with a rug around the bed, so it was easy to get around. It had a roll in shower with a seat that you could place where you wanted it and plenty of grab bars. It was easy to get to, right on Route one. Yet it was set back far enough to be rather quiet. It was a great experience. My husband and I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 4 nights in December. We were in room 301. There are two buildings seperate buildings which seems to not be advertised well. Everything was clean. It's definitely an older building but it is updated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The TV was solid and the DirectTV package was very good. Everything worked properly. The place was quiet. The check in was rather slow. I used Best Western Travel/Gift cards and apparently it didn't show up in their system even though it said they did on the app and website. It slowed the process down. No breakfast was a minor complaint but I'm sure that is because there's a really good cafe next door. For the price we paid, this was a great deal. This is a completely functional room with mini fridge and microwave and good chairs etc. Everything worked as it should. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a hotel room on a budget but that is not low quality.

I had a pleasant stay at the Best Western in Freeport. The property was clean and the front desk staff were professional—though check-in took a bit of time, the gentleman assisting us was kind and thorough. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our visit, but I was informed it would reopen next week. I’m hoping to return in August to enjoy the full experience. Overall, a good stay—I’ll be back!

Hotel has multiple buildings not all in one location. Desk clerk was in a separate building. Bed was great, room was clean.
